Director of Boy’s Volleyball
Tim serves as the RUSH Volleyball Club as Director and Manager since its inception in 2015. Since that time the club has grown from a single team to 22 Boys and Girls teams across the state. The club has grown in size and exposure over the years and has sent multiple athletes to collegiate programs around the country .Tim received his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University—Hawaii in Business with an emphasis in Finance and Entrepreneurship. While at BYU-H he was an Assistant Coach for the Seasider Women’s Volleyball team under Coach Navalta. After graduating in 2014 from BYU-Hawaii he and is wife Jordan moved to Arizona to begin working. Within days of arriving in Arizona, Tim was offered multiple coaching positions in Club and High School positions around the valley. In the Winter of 2015, he was offered the Girl’s Head Varsity position at American Leadership Academy in Queen Creek. The Girls program had their very first playoff appearance under Coach Zemp. During his time at ALA-QC he also started the Boys Volleyball program at the school. In just three short seasons the Boys at ALA-QC became 5A State Runner-ups and finished 34-4 on the season. They followed ups in 2019 finishing 5A Semifinalists. Since that time the Patriots have become a staple as a top High School Boys program in Arizona.
